Oregon High School Basketball - McKay ripped by South Salem
(January 31, 2012: Salem, OR 97302) The South Salem Saxons basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting McKay Scots to 38 in the Saxons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Saxons now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Salem for a 6A Central Valley contest on Friday, February 3. South Salem will meet a Vikings team coming off a 71-27 league loss to McNary (Keizer, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 0-20.
The Scots (5-15) will now prepare for their match against West Salem (Salem, OR). The Titans enter the 6A Central Valley match with a 15-4 record. In their last match, West Salem crushed Sprague (Salem, OR), 83-28, in a league match.
