(January 31, 2012: Fresno, CA 93706) The Washington Union Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Liberty Hawks to 45 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Kerman for a North Sequoia contest on Friday, February 3. Washington Union will meet a Lions team coming off a 59-56 league loss to Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA). The Lions record now stands at 6-11.

The Hawks (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Redskins come into the North Sequoia contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Chowchilla was defeated by Sierra (Tollhouse, CA), 62-48, in a league contest.
