California High School Basketball - Franklin nudges Keppel

(December 20, 2011: Los Angeles, CA 90042) Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA), 53-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hoover (Glendale, CA) to encounter the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Monday, December 26. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Hoover won 42-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA)

Next up, the Aztecs battle the La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Keppel will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 51-47 non-league win over La Canada (La Canada, CA).
