(February 1, 2010: Phoenix, AZ 85021) Westwind Prep Academy Warriors (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Phoenix, AZ), 82-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westwind Prep Academy upgrades its record to 24-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Horizon Honors lost 51-38 in their recent non-league bout against Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ)
Next up, the Roadrunners play the Verde Valley Coyotes (Sedona, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 2. Phoenix Day School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 54-47 league loss to Joy Christian (Glendale, AZ).
