Gulf Buccaneers tipped the host
Springstead Eagles soccer squad by a margin of
3-2 in Monday's league match.
The Buccaneers now hold a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host
Sunlake for a
Class 4A - District 8 match on Wednesday, January 14.
Gulf will play a Seahawks squad coming off a
4-2 non-league loss to
Ridgewood (New Port Richey, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 8-9.
With the loss,
Springstead drops to 6-6 on the season. The Eagles host
Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL) to play the Bulls in a
Class 3A - District 6 match on Friday, January 16. The Bulls come into the match with a record of 6-11.
