(October 20, 2007: Sparta, NJ 07871) In Saturday's league game, the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) football team tipped the host Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), by a score of 7-0.
The Patriots (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Vernon (Vernon, NJ). The Vikings come into the Sussex County game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Vernon got by Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ), 26-13, in a league game.
