Texas High School Basketball - Roosevelt falls to Wagner

(December 1, 2011: San Antonio, TX 78233) The Wagner Thunderbirds basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders to 39 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Antonian Prep for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Wagner will confront a Apaches team coming off a 48-40 non-league loss to Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 3-9.

The Rough Riders (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Clemens was defeated by O'Connor (Helotes, TX), 70-30, in a non-league contest.
