Texas High School Basketball - Manvel falls to Angleton

Angleton Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting
Manvel Mavericks to 45 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host
Friendswood for a
4A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, January 8.
Angleton will confront a Mustangs team coming off a
60-55 league win over
Brazosport (Freeport, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-5.
The Mavericks (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against
Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Gators enter the
4A Region III District 23 contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest,
Dickinson ran past
Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX),
73-56, in a league contest.
