With the victory, Farwell improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Steers host Hart (Hart, TX) to play the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Hart won 46-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX)
