(January 10, 2012: East Granby, CT 06026) The Avon Falcons basketball squad scored 45 points and limited the host East Granby Crusaders to 31 in the Falcons league win on Tuesday.

With the win, Avon upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Coventry (Coventry, CT) to play the Patriots in a North Central Connecticut bout on Friday, January 13. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Coventry won 56-42 in their recent league bout against Somers (Somers, CT)

Next up, the Crusaders play the East Windsor Panthers (East Windsor, CT) in a North Central Connecticut bout, on Friday, January 13. East Granby will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 57-32 league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT).
