(December 28, 2011: Slaton, TX 79364) The Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Petersburg Buffaloes (Petersburg, TX), 57-14 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Vega (Vega, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Vega walloped Post (Post, TX), 50-46, in a non-league test.
The Buffaloes now own a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colorado for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Petersburg will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 28-27 non-league win over Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.
