Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Keystone Oaks holds off South Park

(January 24, 2012: Pittsburgh, PA 15216) Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting South Park Eagles (South Park, PA), 73-66 in a league bout.

With the victory, Keystone Oaks upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 13-1. Sto-Rox won 55-51 in their recent non-league bout against South Fayette (McDonald, PA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 4 bout, on Friday, January 27. South Park will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 51-44 non-league loss to Trinity (Washington, PA).
