(December 2, 2011: Huntsville, TX 77320) Westbury Christian Wildcats (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX), 77-71 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westbury Christian upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Klein Oak (Spring, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 10-1. Klein Oak won 45-29 in their recent non-league test against Eisenhower (Houston, TX)

The Hornets now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bryan for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Huntsville will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 51-28 non-league loss to Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
