Arizona High School Basketball - Willow Canyon routs North Canyon
(January 31, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85024) In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), by a margin of 76-54.
The Wildcats (16-14) will now prepare for their outing against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Stallions go into the non-league outing with a 9-15 record. In their last outing, Shadow Ridge smashed Dysart (El Mirage, AZ), 50-38, in a league outing.
The Rattlers now own a 1-22 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Ridge for a I Section III outing on Friday, February 3. North Canyon will encounter a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 68-52 non-league win over Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 12-11.
