Ohio High School Basketball - Valley View falls to Waynesville

(January 7, 2012: Waynesville, OH 45068) The Waynesville Spartans basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Valley View Spartans to 62 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northridge for a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye bout on Tuesday, January 10. Waynesville will play a Polar Bears squad coming off a 62-50 league loss to Dixie (New Lebanon, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 3-3.

Next up, the Spartans play the Twin Valley South Panthers (West Alexandria, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Eaton (Eaton, OH).
