New Jersey High School Football - Lenape felled by Eastern

(October 17, 2008: Voorhees, NJ 08043) In Friday's league game, the Eastern Vikings (Voorhees, NJ) football squad toppled the visiting Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ), by a margin of 35-21.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) in a Burlco/Olympic - American match, on Friday, October 31. Eastern will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record.

The Indians (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Washington Township (Sewell, NJ). The Minutemen enter the Burlco/Olympic - American match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Washington Township dropped by Cherokee (Marlton, NJ), 21-0, in a league match.
