Texas High School Basketball - Bridge City can't hold off Jasper

Jasper Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting
Bridge City Cardinals to 61 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host
Hamshire-Fannett for a
3A Region III District 21 match on Thursday, December 20.
Jasper will face a Longhorns team coming off a
99-48 league loss to
Silsbee (Silsbee, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-9.
With the defeat,
Bridge City moves to 4-7 on the year. The Cardinals travel to
Orangefield (Orangefield, TX) to face the Bobcats in a
3A Region III District 21 match on Friday, December 21. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 10-4.
