(February 3, 2009: Brooksville, FL 34601) Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL), 64-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crystal River upgrades its record to 3-16 on the season. The Pirates host Seven Rivers Christian (Lecanto, FL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Seven Rivers Christian won 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against Shores Christian Academy (Ocala, FL)

Next up, the Leopards play the River Ridge Knights /Royal (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 5. Hernando will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Knights /Royal go into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 34-26 non-league loss to Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL).
