Virginia High School Basketball - Armstrong trounced by Highland Springs

(January 20, 2012: Highland Springs, VA 23075) The Highland Springs Springers routed the visiting Armstrong Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 90-24 in Friday's league test.

The Springers (18-1) will now prepare for their test against Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils go into the AAA Capital test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Varina walloped Henrico (Richmond, VA), 63-49, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-15 record. They take the field next when they host Glen Allen for a AAA Capital test on Friday, January 27. Armstrong will clash with a squad coming off a 60-45 league loss to Lee-Davis (Mechanicsville, VA). The record now stands at 3-7.
