California High School Basketball - San Diego fells Centennial
(February 4, 2012: Compton, CA 90222) San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA), 55-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, San Diego upgrades its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Cavers host Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA) to play the Marauders in a Eastern bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Marauders come into the bout with a record of 13-10. Mira Mesa won 59-49 in their recent league bout against Hoover (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Apaches play the Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Tartars come into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 49-29 league win over El Segundo (El Segundo, CA).
