California High School Basketball - Centennial fells Santa Margarita
(December 22, 2011: Compton, CA 90222) Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), 49-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Centennial upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to Clovis North (Fresno, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Clovis North lost 50-48 in their recent non-league bout against Bullard (Fresno, CA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Santa Margarita will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
