(December 8, 2011: Ashland, MS 38603) The DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) basketball crushed the host Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS), 84-46 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Jaguars (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Grissom (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Grissom walloped Oxford (Oxford, AL), 69-48, in a league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shannon for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Ashland will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 69-57 non-league win over Houston (Houston, MS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 6-1.
