(January 27, 2012: Mason, TX 76856) The Mason Punchers routed the visiting Center Point Pirates basketball team by a final score of 58-33 in Friday's league test.

The Punchers (24-4) will now prepare for their test against Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The Eagles go into the 1A-1 Region IV District 29 test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Johnson City was trounced by Medina (Medina, TX), 41-18, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medina for a 1A-1 Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, January 31. Center Point will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 41-18 league win over Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 19-7.
