California High School Basketball - Granite Bay ripped by Nevada Union

(January 13, 2012: Grass Valley, CA 95945) The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Granite Bay Grizzlies to 29 in the Miners league triumph on Friday.

The Miners now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Ridge for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Nevada Union will confront a Trojans team coming off a 52-32 non-league win over Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-5.

The Grizzlies (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the Sierra Foothill contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Del Oro was routed by Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA), 52-32, in a non-league contest.
