(March 23, 2009: Lakeland, FL 33803) Tampa Catholic Crusaders (Tampa, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lakeland Christian Vikings (Lakeland, FL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Shorecrest Prep for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 24. Tampa Catholic will face a Chargers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Cambridge (Tampa, FL). The Chargers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Lakeland Christian falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Braden River (Bradenton, FL) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 16. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 13-4.
