New York High School Volleyball - Hornell overwhelmed by Wayland-Cohocton
(October 20, 2009: Wayland, NY 14572) In Tuesday's league battle, the host Wayland-Cohocton Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hornell Red Raiders.
The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Dansville (Dansville, NY). The Mustangs come into the Section 5 Livingston County I battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Dansville achieved victory over Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Red Raiders clash with the Livonia Bulldogs (Livonia, NY) in a Section 5 Livingston County I battle, on Thursday, October 22. Hornell will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 15-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Haverling (Bath, NY).
