Texas High School Basketball - Cumby overwhelmed by Leonard
(December 27, 2011: Leonard, TX 75452) The Leonard Tigers basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Cumby Trojans to 26 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Farmersville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Leonard will meet a Farmers team coming off a 67-34 non-league win over Bells (Bells, TX). The Farmers record now stands at 9-6.
The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Ford was routed by Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX), 53-51, in a non-league match.
