Maryland High School Football - Damascus crushed by Quince Orchard
(September 20, 2007: Gaithersburg, MD ) In Thursday's non-league game, the
Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) football team smashed the visiting
Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), by a final score of
35-0.
The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their game against
Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Colonels come into the
Montgomery County 4A - East game with a 1-2 record. In their last game,
Magruder was trounced by
Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD),
18-15, in a league game.
The Hornets now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Wheaton for a
Montgomery County 3A game on Friday, September 28.
Damascus will battle a Knights team coming off a
33-7 league loss to
Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.
