Nebraska High School Basketball - Dundy County nudges Hayes Center
(January 24, 2012: Benkelman, NE 69021) Dundy County Tigers (Benkelman, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Hayes Center Cardinals (Hayes Center, NE), 54-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dundy County upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Tigers host Southwest (Indianola, NE) to encounter the Roughriders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Southwest lost 51-27 in their recent league bout against Alma (Alma, NE)
Next up, the Cardinals encounter the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a D2 District 10 bout, on Friday, February 3. Hayes Center will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
