(October 3, 2008: Absecon, NJ 08201) The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) and the visiting St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ), observed Holy Spirit's football squad edge St. Joseph by a count of 13-9.

The Spartans now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mainland Regional for a non-league contest on Friday, October 10. Holy Spirit will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 56-7 league win over Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
