Texas High School Basketball - Judson overwhelms San Marcos

(January 6, 2012: Converse, TX 78109) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) and the visiting San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), saw Judson's basketball squad trounce San Marcos by a score of 54-31.

With the victory, Judson improves its record to 20-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX) to meet the Unicorns in a 5A Region IV District 25 battle on Tuesday, January 10. The Unicorns come into the battle with a record of 8-12.

The Rattlers (8-16) will now prepare for their battle against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights come into the 5A Region IV District 25 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Steele triumphed over Wagner (San Antonio, TX), 52-43, in a league battle.
