Texas High School Basketball - Comstock ripped by Nueces Canyon

(January 10, 2012: Comstock, TX 78837) The Nueces Canyon Panthers basketball team scored 86 points and held the host Comstock Panthers to 24 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utopia for a 1A-2 Region IV District 31 contest on Friday, January 13. Nueces Canyon will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 77-23 league loss to Knippa (Knippa, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-13.

The Panthers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Angoras enter the 1A-2 Region IV District 31 contest with a 5-2 record.
