Florida High School Volleyball - Hillsborough edged by Jefferson
(September 20, 2011: Tampa, FL 33607) The Jefferson Dragons held off the visiting Hillsborough Terriers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Dragons now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leto for a 6A District 11 test on Thursday, September 22. Jefferson will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Chamberlain (Tampa, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
The Terriers (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Riverview (Riverview, FL). The Sharks enter the 7A District 8 test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Riverview was nudged by Bloomingdale (Valrico, FL), 3-2, in a non-league test.
