Pennsylvania High School Football - Mount Carmel beat Central Columbia

(October 2, 2009: Mount Carmel, PA 17851) The Mount Carmel Tornadoes football squad scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Central Columbia Bluejays to 20 in the Tornadoes league victory on Friday.

The Tornadoes now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loyalsock for a Heartland II battle on Friday, October 9. Mount Carmel will face a Lancers squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Bluejays encounter the Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 9. Central Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
