Texas High School Basketball - San Marcos falls to Wagner
(January 17, 2012: San Marcos, TX 78666) The Wagner Thunderbirds basketball team scored 52 points and held the host San Marcos Rattlers to 36 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Braunfels for a 5A Region IV District 25 contest on Friday, January 20. Wagner will meet a Unicorns team coming off a 72-25 league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 8-15.
Next up, the Rattlers play the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, January 20. San Marcos will attempt to upgrade on its 9-18 season record.
