New Jersey High School Basketball - Ridge prevails Immaculata
(February 2, 2012: Somerville, NJ 08876) Ridge Red Devils (Basking Ridge, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ), 59-47 in a league bout.
With the win, Ridge upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Red Devils host Franklin (Somerset, NJ) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Franklin lost 72-67 in their recent league bout against Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans play the Hillsborough Raiders (Hillsborough, NJ) in a Skyland - Delaware bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Immaculata will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 51-43 league win over Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ).
