(December 29, 2011: Corinth, MS 38834) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) and the visiting Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles (Belden, MS), saw Corinth's basketball squad trounce Tupelo Christian Prep by a count of 52-30.

With the victory, Corinth upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Amory (Amory, MS) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Amory lost 74-35 in their recent non-league challenge against North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS)

Next up, the Eagles play the Smithville Seminoles (Smithville, MS) in a 1A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Tupelo Christian Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 64-18 non-league loss to Hatley (Amory, MS).
