Texas High School Basketball - Decatur ripped by Aledo

(November 15, 2011: Aledo, TX 76008) The Aledo Bearcats basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Decatur Eagles to 17 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bearcats now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cooper for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Aledo will meet a Cougars team coming off a 28-23 non-league win over Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest (Fort Worth, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Southwest was routed by Life Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX), 49-40, in a non-league contest.
