Arizona High School Basketball - Canyon del Oro trounces Amphitheater

(January 12, 2012: Tucson, AZ 85737) The Canyon del Oro Dorados (Tucson, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ), 43-16 in Thursday's league test.

The Dorados (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Caballeros go into the II Section I test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Flowing Wells walloped Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ), 38-27, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 6-16 record. They take the field next when they host Salpointe Catholic for a II Section I test on Tuesday, January 17. Amphitheater will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 37-31 league loss to Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers record now stands at 7-6.
