(December 30, 2011: Fayetteville, NC 28301) The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Seventy-First Falcons to 40 in the Golden Bulls non-league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Bulls now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jack Britt for a 4A Mid-South match on Tuesday, January 3. E.E. Smith will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 48-38 non-league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-7.

With the defeat, Seventy-First moves to 9-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to confront the Buccaneers in a 4A Mid-South match on Tuesday, January 10. The Buccaneers enter the match with a record of 4-7.
