Arizona High School Basketball - Camelback topped by Central

(January 26, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85012) The Central Bobcats basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Camelback Spartans to 62 in the Bobcats league victory on Thursday.

The Bobcats now sport a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to Alhambra for a I Section I contest on Friday, January 27. Central will meet a Lions team coming off a 76-52 league loss to Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 6-16.

The Spartans (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Hayden (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons come into the I Section I contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Hayden was defeated by North (Phoenix, AZ), 64-57, in a league contest.
