(November 8, 2011: Lucas, TX 75002) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) and the host Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX), saw Sanger's basketball squad overcome Lovejoy by a score of 47-36.
With the victory, Sanger improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Azle (Azle, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 15. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Leopards play the Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 11. Lovejoy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 51-36 non-league loss to Coronado (Lubbock, TX).
