Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting
Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY), by a count of
72-61.
The Yellowjackets (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against
Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers go into the
District 41 outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing,
Franklin County was topped by
Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY),
72-67, in a non-league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Waggener for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 26.
Western Hills will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a
72-53 non-league win over
Southern (Louisville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-2.
