(January 13, 2012: Mesa, AZ 85201) The McClintock Chargers basketball team (Tempe, AZ), was toppled 50-41 in Friday's league battle with the host Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ)

The Warriors now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Mountain for a I Section III battle on Monday, January 16. Westwood will battle a Wolves team coming off a 62-55 non-league loss to Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 14-5.

The Chargers (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mesa (Mesa, AZ). The Jackrabbits come into the I Section III battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Mesa was toppled by Mountain View (Mesa, AZ), 53-34, in a league battle.
