Oregon High School Basketball - Sunset ripped by Southridge

(January 24, 2012: Beaverton, OR 97008) The Southridge Skyhawks basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Sunset Apollos to 40 in the Skyhawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Skyhawks now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westview for a 6A Metro contest on Friday, January 27. Southridge will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 54-33 league loss to Beaverton (Beaverton, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-5.

The Apollos (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Crusaders enter the 6A Metro contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Jesuit trounced Aloha (Beaverton, OR), 57-28, in a league contest.
