Georgia High School Basketball - First Presbyterian Christian Academy holds off Augusta HomeSchool

(January 21, 2012: Hinesville, GA 31313) First Presbyterian Christian Academy Highlanders (Hinesville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Augusta HomeSchool Eagles (Augusta, GA), 61-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, First Presbyterian Christian Academy upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA) to play the in a GISA 2AA bout on Tuesday, January 24. The go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Frederica Academy won 55-41 in their recent league bout against Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Curtis Baptist Crusaders (Augusta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Augusta HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 55-49 league win over Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA).
