Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host
Caldwell Parish Spartans to 54 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-11 record. They play next when they host
Ferriday for a
2A District 2 contest on Friday, February 1.
Jonesboro-Hodge will meet a Trojans team coming off a
60-52 league win over
Lake Providence (Lake Providence, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 20-7.
The Spartans (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against
North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA). The Griffins come into the
3A District 2 contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest,
North DeSoto dropped by
Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA),
59-57, in a non-league contest.
