Virginia High School Volleyball - Staunton River overwhelmed by Lord Botetourt
(October 18, 2011: Daleville, VA 24083) The Staunton River Golden Eagles volleyball team (Moneta, VA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA)
The Cavaliers (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers come into the AA Blue Ridge challenge with a 1-16 record. In their last challenge, Alleghany went down by Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles encounter the Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 19. Staunton River will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record.
