Arizona High School Basketball - Horizon overwhelms North Canyon

(January 10, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85024) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) and the host North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), saw Horizon's basketball squad trounce North Canyon by a score of 84-51.

With the victory, Horizon improves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Matadors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Shadow Mountain lost 75-72 in their recent non-league challenge against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ)

Next up, the Rattlers battle the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) in a I Section III challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. North Canyon will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 65-42 league win over Mesa (Mesa, AZ).
