(August 24, 2007: Laurinburg, NC 28352) Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC), 34-6 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Scotland improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Scots travel to Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, August 31. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-1. Marlboro County won 26-10 in their recent non-league test against Cheraw (Cheraw, SC)

With the loss, Lumberton drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, August 31. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 1-0. Overhills won 48-6 in their recent non-league battle against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC)
